At some point, a question kicked in: how many lives can one piece of clothing hold? The answer, for now, is: at least eight. We built a skirt out of eight pairs of jeans – eight stories, one body, one walking archive. 8:1 became our favourite little recycling equation, a tiny rebellion against the idea that “sustainable fashion” is a logo and a marketing campaign. For us, recycling isn’t an innovation; it’s a return to common sense.
